Support
Need a hand? Email support@colorswag.xyz and a real person will get back to you, usually within two business days. There's no ticket system to fight and no account to log into.
What to include
If something is broken, these three things resolve almost every report on the first reply: your iPhone model, the iOS version you're on, and what you tapped just before it went wrong. A screenshot helps more than a description. Please don't send us the photo you were analysing — we don't need it, and we'd rather not have it.
The colors it found aren't the ones I wanted
Start with the tap. Color Swag isolates the item you tap and reads only its colors, so a large background can't crowd out the thing you care about. If it highlights the wrong object — a whole person rather than the jacket, say — use Change focus and tap again, or Use whole photo when the picture is a sunset rather than a garment.
After that, tapping adds colors. There are six slots and your taps fill them first, so every color you add pushes out one of the app's suggestions — tap six and you've replaced them entirely. You can remove any pick you change your mind about. Shopping uses up to three of those six, so choose the ones worth searching for.
The search found nothing
Results come from live retailer listings, so an unusual combination can genuinely come back empty. Selecting fewer colors or clearing a style filter widens the search. Results also vary with what retailers happen to have in stock that day.
What happens to my photos
Nothing leaves your phone. Color detection runs on the device, so we never receive or store an image — there is no server-side copy to request or delete. Saved searches, including their thumbnails, live in the app on your phone and are removed when you delete the search or delete the app. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Removing your email address
The app does not collect email addresses. If you joined the launch waitlist on this website, email support@colorswag.xyz to have your address removed.
Why some links earn a commission
Color Swag is free, and some links to retailers are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same either way, and a commission never affects which items are shown or the order they appear in — results are ranked by the retailers' own review scores. The terms cover this in full.
Reporting a security issue
Email support@colorswag.xyz with "security" in the subject line and we will get back to you quickly. Please give us a reasonable window to fix anything you find before you publish it.
